Because Bone Setting Water is for external use only, there are few to no negative side effects of using our product as directed. However, this is powerful traditional medicine using several plant extracts you may not have been exposed to before, and it is important to monitor your individual response to using this product.
Bone Setting Water is a powerful antibacterial and antifungal liniment, however, use on broken skin will sting (because of its alcohol base) so, do so with caution.
Avoid touching mucus membranes or eyes after applying Bone Setting Water. It will have an even stronger cooling (and warming) effect on these tissues.
If you notice any adverse skin reactions after using Bone Setting Water, please use soap and water to remove the liniment and discontinue use. Consult a physician if your condition worsens. We do not recommend using Bone Setting Water on pregnant bellies or low backs due to the strong blood moving actions of the herbs within.

Spray
Apply Bone Setting Water directly to the area of pain with our convenient spray applicator. Use lightly as a bug spray or for itchy skin, or apply more and gently massage into the area 2-3 times a day. Be cautious of spraying your clothes or other fabrics, as it can stain if not addressed quickly.
Cotton Ball
Tear off a small piece of a cotton ball and saturate with Bone Setting Water, then use this juicy applicator to get it where you need it without a spill! After applying, make sure to squeeze out the excess and massage into the area.
Soak
You can put Bone Setting Water in your foot or hand soaks to relieve arthritis pain and inflammation, and to aid in recovery from injury such as sprains or broken bones. Begin with hot water in a small tub, then add Bone Setting Water to it. Soak for five to fifteen minutes.
Wrap
Using cotton (gauze, cotton ball, or reusable cloth will work!) soaked with Bone Setting Water, wrap with medical tape or a bandage to keep the liniment in contact with the skin for longer amounts of time to allow for deeper penetration and added benefits.

Yes, Bone Setting Water smells like a spicy mix of ten natural plant extracts!
We would say that it has an herbal cinnamon and peppercorn scent, but your overall interpretation may differ depending on your body chemistry. Most commonly, we have heard a comparison to maple syrup.
This smell is a part of the healing constituents of the plants and we aren’t able to make an unscented Bone Setting Water without sacrificing much of its efficacy.
When people are sensitive to smells, more often than not it is artificial fragrances that will trigger this reaction. We do not use any synthetic fragrances in making Bone Setting Water.
-
Bone Setting Water can be a little messy, and the rich herbal extracts can stain if let to set too long or after being run through the wash without a pre-treatment!
As soon as possible after noticing a spill, soak the area with alcohol and dab it (or scrub it) with a clean cloth. Once the area has been saturated with alcohol (the base of Bone Setting Water), work in your favorite stain remover or laundry detergent and rinse with hot water. Add another dab of stain remover and let set until the article is ready to be washed.
-
Due to the alcohol extraction process, Bone Setting Water is safe stored at room temperature for many years. Bacteria will not grow in Bone Setting Water, but it is possible that after several years the strength of the herbal extracts may start to break down. Alcohol extracts have a minimum shelf life of around five years, but your mileage may vary.
